Memorial at the northern point of Suvla Bay. ‘The enemy forces landed at Anburnu in the morning of 25 April 1915 and at Anafartalar Bay in the night of 6/7 August and after several months of bloody battles, they have realized that they cannot break through the Turkish defences on the Peninsula of Gelibolu (Gallipoli) and evacuated these fronts on 20 December.’
